A mysterious toxic smog is infecting Keren Mountain people, an ethnic minority in Thailand. Men and women get a bizarre skin condition, as if they are burned by an invisible fire. The government official forest marshalls worry and consequently burn down the villages of the Mountain people. A good excuse to make way for a new national park so after the pandemic. By destroying their habitat the Keren have nowhere to return. When one of the Keren migrant female, working as a nanny in Bangkok, hears of a lone mountainman captured in the mountains, she abandons everything she build in the city, and takes her young daughter to hopefully find her lost husband.
